How the online internship works
My story
I have established myself as a leading figure in the digital and IT sector — with a passion for creative, user-centered solutions and technological progress. My journey began in 1999 with an apprenticeship as a multimedia designer at SAE Institute Berlin, followed by further training to become a certified multimedia producer. In 2002, I deepened my knowledge at the L4 Institute for Digital Communication before completing an apprenticeship as a media designer for digital and print media at the Mediadesign University of Applied Sciences for Design and Computer Science (MD.H.) in 2005.
In 2008, I founded Ventzke Media — a Berlin-based agency for UX design, software development, and innovative digital products. Together with my team, we implement projects for well-known brands, startups, and medium-sized companies. My focus is on digital project management combined with agile methods and leading interdisciplinary teams to implement complex digital products – from enterprise e-commerce platforms to AI-based applications and real-time 3D product configurators.
I am particularly proud of our work in the field of mobile app development. In 2016, we developed coopz, a social dating app that connects people based on shared interests and locations. Another significant project is Mina, an AI-based chatbot for mental health that reflects my goal of combining technology with user-centered design. Also worth mentioning are projects such as the KWC 3D product configurator and the global e-commerce platform for Franke, a provider of system catering services.

What does a typical collaboration with me look like?
In an initial meeting, we clarify goals, challenges, and framework conditions. Based on this, I develop a customized setup - e.g., as an external product owner, UX consultant, technical project manager, or strategic sparring partner for digital product teams. I quickly integrate into existing structures and work closely with internal stakeholders, developers, and management.
Do I work as part of existing teams or as an external unit?
Both are possible. I either work embedded in internal product teams (remotely or hybrid) or independently with my network of developers and designers. My goal is always efficiency, transparency, and smooth integration into existing processes.
How does communication work?
I work with established tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, Miro, and MS Teams. Communication is structured, regular, and solution-oriented - typically in the form of weekly meetings, reviews, or direct daily exchanges with product teams and stakeholders.
For which company sizes is your support useful?
I work with startups, scale-ups, and established companies - often in the context of digital departments, in-house agencies, or innovation teams. Larger organizations with complex, often siloed structures also benefit from my holistic view of product, user experience, and technology.
How is billing handled?
I offer various models: daily rates for flexible assignments, monthly retainers for long-term collaboration, or project-based fixed prices for clearly defined tasks. In every case: transparent billing, predictable budgets, no overhead.
What should internal teams or decision-makers bring to the table before the project starts?
It is important to have clarity about goals, existing framework conditions (technology, teams, processes), and access to relevant stakeholders. If the scope is still unclear, I can help define it - for example, through workshops, audits, or an initial UX/product analysis.
How soon can I start?
Usually at short notice – depending on the scope and workload. I am used to quickly familiarizing myself with existing projects or structures and taking on responsibility – even in critical phases such as relaunches, transformation processes, or project rescues.
